Crockpot RED BEANS AND RICE

This looks good-

3 C. WATER

1 C. DRIED RED BEANS (KIDNEY, SMALL RED, WHATEVER)

1 C. CHOPPED ONION (I GUESS YOU COULD LEAVE IT OUT IF YOUR DH HATES ONIONS)

2 BELL PEPPERS (IDEALLY DIFFERENT COLORS), CHOPPED

1. C. CHOPPED CELERY

1 TSP. DRIED THYME

1 TSP. PAPRIKA

1/2 TSP CAYENNE (OR MORE IF YOU LIKE IT HOT)

2 THINLY SLICED SMOKED SAUSAGES

5 MINCED CLOVES OF GARLIC

COMBINE ALL THIS IN YOUR SLOW COOKER. COVER AND COOK FOR 1 HOUR ON HIGH, THEN EITHER 4 MORE HOURS ON HIGH OR SEVEN HOURS ON LOW. SERVE OVER HOT COOKED RICE. Serves 4
